Laura spent her earliest years in a little fishing town along the English coast, surrounded by colorful houses hugging rocky cliffs. From the sea, to the mountains, and back to the sea, Laura has always expressed herself through visual art. She began with fine art, but as of recent, has added the use of movement to her vocabulary, and can now be found in San Francisco, California expressing herself through film. She has found this form of communication and understanding to be the most effective toolset for untangling this thing called life.
Laura has spent much of her time in the art department, becoming increasingly literate in the ways visual design can impact a film’s message. She has also studied transcendental style in cinema, and is fascinated by the ways video can tap into, and help us understand our subconscious. She now carries that experience into the world of directing, creating work that is both visually striking, and magically transportive.
